Wing Kai served 29 distinguished years in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where he held several senior command and staff appointments, including Commandant of the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College, Chief Guards Officer/Commander 21 Division, Assistant Chief of the General Staff (Operations), and Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command.
His military career equipped him with deep expertise in operational planning, human capital management, training development, and international military diplomacy.
Retiring from military service in 2016 with the rank of Brigadier General (BG), Wing Kai has since accumulated over eight years of experience in financial management. He currently manages a fund portfolio focused on the development and operation of purpose-built student accommodation in the United Kingdom. In addition, he is a certified executive coach, drawing on his extensive leadership background to support professionals in leadership development and strategic growth.
A strong believer of paying it forward, Wing Kai volunteers with the Green Shoots Programme, where he coaches and mentors SAF soldiers in the Detention Barracks. His personal interests include jogging, swimming and golf.
